My dear sweet friend Stacey, gave me a set of these mugs for Christmas. I have to say they were and still are one of my favorite presents. They happily sit on my kitchen windowsill brightening up my, blue and white with red accents, kitchen. After all of our moving around from here to there it is really amazing to have a new friend that
knows about my red and white obsession,
knows that we had been drinking hot chocolate with the kids for a Christmas tradition,
knows me well enough to see something like these mugs and think of me,
and then buy them as a special gift.
For some reason, these mugs seem to be symbolic of a new phase of my life. A life that is a little more settled and has all of those really important things that life needs, like good friends.
